Grain pricing tool

Work out your grain margin with a simple calculator built for phones.

Understand the calculator results

Cost and margin

Enter the crop area and per-area seed, fertiliser, chemical, urea, and other costs. Add harvested weight and price to estimate total growing cost, cost per tonne, gross revenue, and the margin left after those nominated inputs.

Storage and sale scenarios

Storage costs are applied over the period you choose so you can compare selling now with holding grain longer. The quick-sale section tests a selected quantity and price without replacing the main harvest assumptions.

Private on this device

Scenarios are stored in this browser and are not sent to an AgriPilot account. Clearing browser data or changing devices can remove them, so keep a separate record of any figures you need for farm planning or reporting.

Compare changing assumptions

Save more than one scenario when you want to compare crops, seasons, price offers, or storage periods. The sensitivity view shows how a range of possible prices changes the estimated result, making the effect of an uncertain market assumption easier to see.

Results are estimates based only on the values entered. They do not automatically include tax, finance, freight, levies, grade deductions, shrinkage, contract terms, or every cost of production. Check the calculation against your records and seek appropriate professional advice before making grain marketing or financial decisions.
